Here are answers to common questions about Articulate ID.
What Is Articulate ID?
Articulate ID is your single sign-on for access to all things Articulate. It’ll be rolled out in phases. Currently, Articulate ID lets you download software and log into E-Learning Heroes, where you can participate in discussions and download free resources. In the future, it’ll interface with more Articulate systems to provide the following benefits:
- Remember only one username and password for Articulate systems (except Articulate Online).
- Manage your automated services, including subscriptions and licenses.
- Receive customized offers, pricing, and licensing arrangements tailored for you and your organization.
If you don't have an Articulate ID, you can create one by clicking any download link on our free trial page.
Why Do I Need to Create an Articulate ID?
Articulate ID is required to download software (free trials, purchased apps, and periodic updates) and participate in the E-Learning Heroes community.
Where Will I Use My Articulate ID?
Currently, you’ll use your Articulate ID to download software (free trials, purchased apps, and periodic updates) and log into E-Learning Heroes. In the future, your Articulate ID will be used for most Articulate services, simplifying your experience and reducing the number of usernames/passwords required to interact with Articulate.

What Happens After I Create My Articulate ID?
You’ll receive an authentication request at the email address you provided during registration. The request will be sent immediately, but if you don’t see it within a few hours, check your junk/spam folder. If you still don’t see it, please let us know.
Why Should I Use My Organization Email Address Rather Than My Personal Email Address?
By providing your organization's email address, you’ll receive any special pricing or licensing options that are unique to your organization. Your inquiries will also be routed to the Articulate representative who’s most familiar with your organization.
What Are the Articulate ID Password Requirements?
Passwords must be a minimum of eight letters and numbers. Special characters aren’t currently supported.
Why Should I Provide My Phone Number?
Adding your phone number to your Articulate ID is optional, but it’ll help us help you quickly if an issue arises.
Is My E-Learning Heroes Account the Same as My Articulate ID?
Yes. As of October 22, 2014, your E-Learning Heroes (ELH) and Articulate ID (AID) accounts are the same. See the table below for details about your username and password, depending on which accounts you had prior to this date.

Is My Articulate Store Account the Same as My Articulate ID?
Not yet. In the future, your Articulate ID will manage your interactions with Articulate, including store purchases. For now, they remain separate.
Can I Use My Articulate Online Username and Password as My Articulate ID?
If you’re using your organization email address and the password meets the Articulate ID guidelines, you can use them again for your Articulate ID, but the two accounts will remain separate. Using the same username and password may help you remember them; however, Articulate Online will always be a separate entity from Articulate ID.
What If I Forget My Articulate ID Password?
Click the Trouble signing in? link on the login screen or click here, then enter the email address you used for your Articulate ID and click Send. Your password will be emailed to you.
