P13 Articulate Presenter IPC Handler Could Not Be Loaded

When you click buttons on the Articulate tab of the PowerPoint ribbon, you may see this error message:

Articulate Presenter IPC hander could not be loaded.

You're Not Using a Supported Version of PowerPoint

Be sure you're using PowerPoint 2007 SP3 or later, PowerPoint 2010, PowerPoint 2013, or PowerPoint 2016. See this article for exceptions.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime Isn't Installed

You'll see this error if Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office (VSTO) Runtime isn't installed on your computer. VSTO Runtime is required for Articulate Studio '13 Update 3 and later to work properly. To fix this error, close all open programs, then download and install VSTO Runtime (compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit systems). Reboot your computer and test your software again.

The Articulate Add-In for PowerPoint Is Disabled

If the Articulate Presenter IPC Handler add-in for PowerPoint is disabled, you may see the error above. Follow the steps in this article to enable it.

The Articulate Add-In for PowerPoint Wasn't Properly Installed

If you installed Articulate Presenter in a location other than the default, you may see a message stating that the publisher cannot be verified and asking if you want to install the Articulate.Presenter.Ipc. If you clicked Don't Install on that notification prompt, you'll see the error message at the top of this article. To correct it, follow the steps in this article to enable the Articulate add-in for PowerPoint.
